Tata Tigor is the second close packed in the Indian carmakers lineup and sits below the Tata Zest. Which is built on the Tiago platform, Tigor was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi as the kite 5 Concept. Tata Tigor built on Horizon Next design ideology and it is an important product on Tata’s road.

Tigor was expected sub-four sedan; it still sits almost Rs 50,000.

It contains headlamps and the front bumper which is same as honeycomb mesh grill. Tiago design continues till B-pillar which is subtle changes as the roof-lines and slopes towards the stubby boot in notchback style. Tata has a ‘style back’ which is same as sedans.

It has a same cabin which has Tiago hatchback at right lays down. Design includes grey and black dashboard with grey seats, body-colored which will inserts for the AC vents, 2-DIN music system, climate control and steering on audio controls. Automatic climate controls will be reserved at the top-spec trim, power windows and music system starts from second- to- base XT trims for safety, it has a ABS with EBD and XT trim with a dual front airbags on the XZ trims.

Tata Tigor Engine and Gearbox

Petrol engine for the Tigor is 1.2 liter Revotron has motor products of 84bhp/140Nm of torque. Diesel on the other hand gives around 1.0-litre turbo three-cylinder unit which produces 69bhp/140Nm of torque. Bothe the engines will offer with five-speed manual like Tiago, the Tigor will get an AMT option for petrol engines which are helpful in futures.

Starts price from 4.7 lakhs to 7.02 lakhs, the car is available with four variants and six color options like Berry Red, Copper Dazzle, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White, Platinum Silver, and Striker Blue.
