Inside, you will see best designed interiors with quality finish. Eon interiors get black and beige layout and dashboard is spread like wings of bird with V shaped centre console. And cluster has large circular pod speedometer and MID at bottom, displaying odometer, trip meter and shift indicator. There are two small circular pods on either side that shows fuel level and engine temperature gauges.

Overall, meters are easily readable and are designed neatly. Also, steering wheel is nicely designed with V-shaped silver highlight in middle and good in size. Eon 0.8L iRDE petrol engine

Hyundai Eon 0.8L iRDE comes by 814cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 55 bhp of maximum power at 5500 rpm and 76 Nm torque at 4000 rpm. Also, Hyundai Eon comes with 5-speed manual gearbox and engine is nicely refined. This engine is designed to offer maximum fuel economy and 3-cylinder unit is best suited for city driving.  But in highways engine gives around 120 km/h fuel without any hassle. Steering and clutch is too light in this segment.

Econ 1.0L Kappa

Hyundai is added 1.0 litre kappa engine to Eon and is powered by 998cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 68 bhp at 6200 rpm and peak torque of 94 Nm at 3500 rpm. This Hyundai Eon comes with 5-speed manual gearbox. Hyundai has also taken care of jerkiness that you experience with smaller engine. Eon 1.0L is only available in Magna+ (o) variant. Hyundai Eon Ride and Handling

As far as ride quality and handling are concerned both 0.8L and 1.0L behave same as there are no differences in setup. Hyundai Eon gets McPherson strut to front and torsion beam axle to rear for suspension duties. While Eon goes smooth as long as on roads are smooth without problem. But as road get tough you will feel each and every bit of those large bumps.

When it comes to handling, Eon goes well in city traffic without any problem. Over highways, straight line stability is good going around the curves which gives you confidence while driving. While light steering is good for city roads and motivates confidence during high speed braking situations.
